The sessions were really engaging and we were given access to course materials and other relevant information online so we could expand our knowledge, and for reference afterwards. I felt the tutors really wanted us to succeed and they were supportive and encouraging throughout. It’s good that there were different ways of assessing our progress via class discussions, presentations, assignments, and a multiple-choice test, rather than just through a written exam. I was paying for the course myself and was unable to afford the full price so was very glad to be offered a discount which has made it possible for me to obtain a level 5 qualification in the important area of safeguarding. I don’t really have much feedback for you in terms of constructiveness. The course content was great, the materials were really good, discussion topics were good as well. The length of the sessions were appropriate and felt like the right amount of time and spaced out. I think due to the academic work being in a work book with really good guidance it was easier to follow. And if someone is not used to doing that kind of work it is not as daunting. So I think you have that right as well. I know this is going to change the way we include our people in safeguarding and design our training and service around them. So the impact your course has had on my organisation is tangible and significant. I am very grateful for the learning.”
