The Role
We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified Development Coach (Residential Childcare) to join our growing team. This role is home-based with regular travel to client sites across various regions of the UK. You will play a vital part in supporting and guiding learners through their Residential Childcare qualifications, ensuring they gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide the highest standards of care and support for children and young people.
Key responsibilities include:
• Coaching, mentoring, and assessing learners in Residential Childcare qualifications.
• Delivering high-quality, engaging training tailored to individual needs.
• Supporting learners to achieve in line with awarding body and regulatory standards.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal and external quality assurance requirements.
• Promoting safeguarding, equality, and diversity in all aspects of your work.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
• Qualified – holding a recognised assessing qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA) and relevant Residential Childcare qualifications.
• Experienced – with a strong track record in adult social care practice and learner support.
• Quality-focused – committed to excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Flexible and resilient – able to travel to client sites across the UK and adapt to varied learner needs.
• Passionate – about supporting others to achieve their potential.
