Our Associate Trainers at 3Spirit are an essential and highly regarded part of our business; enabling us to provide targeted training to clients across the UK. We are now looking to expand our network due to growth in our training contracts and would welcome discussion with candidates who meet the following profile.

Role of Associate Trainers

3Spirit Training works with a group of fifteen Associate Trainers who deliver training, both virtually and face to face, nationally and across a wide range of subject areas.

3Spirit Training is looking to build new freelance relationships with freelance trainers who have experience of working within the social care sector, specifically professionals with a health or social work background who can deliver training related to s42 Enquiries, the Safeguarding Adults Manager role within local authorities, the Care Act 2014 and advanced Mental Capacity Act 2005 practice.

All training delivered through 3Spirit Training is delivered by either an Associate Trainer with direct professional experience or people with lived experience, therefor having experience in the field of Safeguarding Adult s42 Enquiries is essential to the Associate Trainer role.

3Spirit Training is looking for Associate Trainers who have experience of, or familiarity in relation to working alongside a variety of individuals who use services and be familiar with the legal frameworks and key guidance documents relating to a variety of populations and geographical locations.

3Spirit Training requires all Associate Trainer to remain current with developments in relation to the subjects that they deliver training. To do so they should be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.

This should be evidenced through:

• Accepting responsibility for their own work.

• Maintaining a high standard of integrity in all their relationships when representing 3Spirit Training.

• Fostering the highest possible standards of professional competence when undertaking and completing training.

• Delivering training and applying their knowledge and expertise with efficiency and responsiveness to the learning needs of all learners.

• Seeking appropriate advice when faced with a situation recognised as being outside their area of expertise and knowledge.

• Rejecting any business practices which might reasonably be deemed improper.

Associate Trainers are commissioned on a course by course basis, related to the Associates competency and experience in relation to the training to be delivered.

Support for the Associate Trainer Role

3Spirit Training will:

• Provide all the resources required for the delivery of training.

• Book all commissioned training and confirm this in writing with associate trainers.

• Actively seek and place Associate Trainers in bookings which are appropriate to their skills base.

• Provide adequate training in the delivery of the course if required.

• Develop visual resources (infographics) to support handouts where appropriate.

• Provide appropriate administrative support, notification of bookings, venue and changes to administrative requirements.

• Provide handouts to learner’s post training.

• Be responsive to complaints and concerns.

• Provide a safe environment for associate trainers and their learners.

Safeguarding

• Have an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.

• Have a Disclosure and Barring Service Check at an enhanced level.

Social Work qualified or relevant clinical qualification.
A minimum of five years’ professional experience.
Experience working in Local Authorities.
Competent and confident with all virtual platforms.
IT literate including confident use of PowerPoint.
Strong Time Management Skills.
Numerate and Literate.
Excellent attention to detail.
Driving Licence (preferred).
Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong Communication Skills both verbal and written.
Ability to commit to travel within London / South East.
Ability to commit to overnight stays in line with requirements.
